Mirage is a utility app that displays video and audio from a connected USB HDMI capture card. We take your privacy seriously. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Data We Do Not Collect

- No account creation or login
- No cloud uploads or server communication
- No third-party SDKs
Local Data
The only data stored on your device is your volume preference, saved locally using iOS UserDefaults. This never leaves your device and is not shared with anyone.
Camera & Microphone Access
Mirage requests camera and microphone permissions because iPadOS treats USB video capture cards as camera and audio devices. These permissions are used solely to display the video feed and play audio locally on your device. No video or audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
